Personalized Payment Plans
The Heritage Cremation & Burial Society is pleased to offer families the following Personalized Payment Plans. In the state of Ohio, we must place the money you use to prepay for your arrangements with a company approved by the state; therefore, we do not have access to these funds until the time of death. Your funds are protected by an independent company that is bonded, insured and licensed by the state of Ohio to handle your money.
Option One
The most popular plans in effect today are those funded through insurance trusts. These plans allow for guaranteed pricing at today’s cost with flexible payment options. Plans start for as little as $15.00 per month. They can be paid for as follows:
- Single Payment Plan

- Three, Five and Ten Year Payment Plans

*Multi-year plans will include a premium for the ability to lock in on today's prices while being able to pay for your arrangements over time |
Option Two
For those unable to make regular payments, the next best choice are funeral trusts. These plans are designed for those who want to put something aside for their arrangements but they might not be able to make a payment every month or the amount they can afford might vary. These plans offer dollar-for-dollar value. What you pay in accumulates and grows over time for when you need it. You can lock-in and guarantee the price of the plan at any time by paying off the balance of the prevailing membership price at that time. The membership price may increase over time.
Option Three
For those who already have an insurance policy and wish to use it to pay for their final arrangements, we offer a variety of options whereby the proceeds of the policy are used to pay for your Heritage Cremation & Burial Society Plan. This is a very popular choice for those qualifying for Medicaid. Your HCBS professional will prepare the Change of Beneficiary and Ownership forms and work with your insurance agent to make sure everything is handled properly. Your plan can be prepared so that once your arrangements are paid for; any remaining proceeds of the policy would be sent to the beneficiary(s) of your choice.
Option Four
For those who don’t wish to fund their arrangements at this time or who aren’t sure of their selections, simply pay the $30.00 membership fee which will guarantee you the prevailing membership price anytime in the future. |
